My life has always orbited the outdoors. Reared by an adventurous family that spent vacations exploring wild rivers, peaks, and canyons of the West, I aspired to navigate a path in life with fishing and hunting at the nucleus. My lust for angling has lured me to rivers, lakes, and seas throughout the western hemisphere. Hunting is not a “sport”, it’s a way of life, and my family subsists on the wild protein I procure, butcher, and prepare.

I have been a river guide, an outfitter, writer, fly designer, ski coach, blogger, sporting goods representative, photographer, podcaster, marketing specialist, salesman, and an outdoor television producer. I have worked independently and as part of a team, in offices and in remote reaches of the backcountry. In a world of digital chaos, I stay grounded by woods and waters.

Currently, I am the exclusive North American distributor for Composite Developments fly rods and accessories and the Montana sales representative for Black Diamond Optics. I am always looking for kindred souls to partner with on sales/marketing and outdoor media projects.
